Purchasing Administration Apprentice - Level 3

Our business is growing fast, and we need an enthusiastic administration apprentice to join our friendly purchasing team. This is an interesting, varied and busy role for someone keen to learn great transferable skills and work in a friendly environment. 

Salary and Hours:

  • £280 - £340 per week, depending upon age and previous experience
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Permanent

We will teach you how to:

  • Place an order
  • Match supplier invoices with goods received notes
  • Source the most affordable materials
  • Maintain the stock and return database
  • Feedback to relevant departments
  • Support the department with general administrative tasks, as required

You need to have:

  • 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 and above or equivalent, which must include English and maths
  • Candidates with A level or equivalent Level 3 qualifications and degree holders who have no previous qualification within this field are also able to apply
  • Equivalent and alternative qualifications to those listed are also accepted

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Good telephone manner and confidence in speaking on the phone
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Used Microsoft Office 365
