Senior Administrator
Vent Engineering are a specialist in natural and smoke ventilation systems and have been manufacturing, supplying, installing and commissioning ventilation systems for 35 years.
We are looking for an experienced administrator who is seeking a new challenge in a demanding, fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible, willing to learn and comfortable working individually or as part of a supportive busy team in a face-to-face environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Working alongside the Group Business Analyst assisting with the day-to-day support and administration of the maintenance department:
- Basic quote preparation for maintenance contracts
- Preparing pro-forma invoices to issue to clients
- Entering Sales orders for goods, services and labour
- Scheduling appointments for our engineers
- Preparing Job Packs & Calendar Appointments for engineer visits
- Costing engineers time from weekly timesheets to a sales order
- Basic quote preparation for remedial works
- Using Servicelife to record all customer and site history
- Answering the phones and responding to emails as required
- Booking Hotels for engineers
- Managing ‘Van Stock’ and returns
- Other duties as required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
- Strong communication skills all round for dealing with colleagues and clients
- Excellent numeracy and IT skills
- Organised, accurate with a very high attention to detail
- The ability to make decisions whilst working under pressure
