In the event of fire, the Ventec 2000-CP FCP Fan Control Panel, which includes system software on a CPU, will automatically activate dampers, impulse fans and extract fans to clear smoke from an activated zone.

Once installed, the system is fully automatic, but can be controlled by a Schneider manufactured HMI touchscreen interface built into the front of the FCP Master unit (FCPM) enclosure. This is password protected for use by authorised users only.

FCPM are custom built and can power multiple fans and system components. Systems requiring more power, than standard Master units can deliver, will require additional unit/s called Slave units (Ventec FCPS). These are similar in appearance to the FCPM but they do not have an integral HMI touchscreen or Carbon Monoxide Control Panel.

Mono Assist mode uses Ventec CM Carbon Monoxide Sensors and a Kisnessa CANline 32 control panel to monitor gas levels, typically carbon monoxide but nitrogen oxide on request. So that, when necessary, the fans run at the required set speeds depending on ppm – to return pollutants to an acceptable level.
